This is Me

 

Originally intending to create a cabinet, the artists soon realised that what they were making with the women could more appropriately be described as a reliquary.

Icons edged in gold celebrate significant objects of deep memory and personal belonging. Hand-drawn travel stickers speak to those places where the heart longs to be. The flowers of the women's gardens are captured in an illuminated window below the teacups denoting companionship, generosity, and friendship shared in the women's community. Hand sculpted votive pots contain secret promises, offerings to the world.
